Thanks for your interest in the Belonging Membership Community! I and my team created this Community because many of us have experienced the pressures of leading our organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments, with little support.
I too have experienced these pressures in a number of different positions throughout my career, before establishing my consulting firm. Our community exists to have each other’s back, amplify our successes, test and change new approaches to the work, and more.
I love building community and coalition with inclusive leaders, visionaries, and change agents. Together, we can build healthy workplace cultures, but far too often I encounter leaders on the verge of giving up on their DEI commitments due to not having support.
That's why I spent the past two decades working in-and-with many organizations researching, testing, and changing promising practices that lead to workers feeling a strong sense of "belonging" at work. What I have learned along the way is now enshrined in my best-selling book, Belonging at Work.
The Belonging Community brings together what I've discovered during my 20-year journey in the DEI, leadership development and social justice fields, complimented with cutting-edge ideas from fellow thought leaders from around the country.
