Why Belonging?
In a world where loneliness and exclusion have become a "lethal epidemic," according to the U.S. Surgeon General, the need for social connection and belonging has never been more profound.
As we navigate the complexities of the modern workplace, building a sense of belonging for every individual is not just a moral imperative but a prerequisite for business success.
Recognizing this urgent need, Rhodes Perry Consulting invites you to join the Belonging Circle, a quarterly gathering, beginning February 29, 2024. Our time together will empower you to imagine and then build belonging at work.
Together, we will:
Together, we will embark on a transformative journey where you can explore, learn, and collaborate with us as we grow our #BelongingMovement.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Over the past five years, Rhodes Perry served as the creator and host of the annual Belonging at Work Summit, an enormous learning journey that featured celebrated DEIB thought leaders, live question & response sessions, workshops, documentary screenings, and more.
Feedback is a gift, and after analyzing nearly 20K responses over the past five events, many participants shared what they loved - starting with the community - and many more offered what they wanted more of.
Most wanted more live events, networking opportunities, and time to complete their reflection workbooks designed to help process valuable content. They also wanted to meet more regularly. With this feedback, we created the Belonging Circle, which divides the 5-day Summit into four, one-day quarterly gatherings starting with our first, on Thursday, February 29th.
Once registered, you’ll receive an email with a link to access all content prepared for our first quarterly Belonging Circle on Monday, February 26th at 5 am Pacific Time/8 am Eastern Time.
There are two exclusive DEIB thought leader talks, and they are available for you to watch and re-watch in advance of our February 29th live event, and for 12 months after the live event.
You’ll also receive expanded workbooks for each of the talks to help you process all of your feelings and bring the skills you learn into your own life & workplace.
Absolutely! Not only will you learn from a wide range of experts on ways to inspire change in your team, but you’ll also find a community of like-minded professionals.
In this community, leaders are asking BIG questions about how to influence and usher in positive, transformational change. Whether you have the entire organization supporting you, or you’re on your own, you’ll find something that fits your unique circumstance at this event.
No matter your registration level, you'll gain immediate access to the talks on February 26th at 5 am PT/8 am ET.
If you register after February 26th, you'll gain instant access to all Quarter 1 2024 Belonging Circle Content.
Our Facebook group is private, which means only members can see what’s posted. That said, your colleagues and leadership team may be in the Facebook group.
If you’re looking for a more intimate community where you can find support around tough issues and big questions, you may want to invest in our Belonging Membership Community.
We appreciate your interest in continuing education credits! While we don’t directly offer CEUs for this event, we’re happy to provide documentation:
Attendance certificate: You’ll receive a certificate confirming your participation in the event.
Learning materials: We’ll share learning materials and resources that align with relevant CEU requirements.
Additional information: Upon request, we can offer additional information to help you claim CEUs through your professional organization.
Check with your professional organization: Many organizations offer CEUs for independent learning. You can present our event documentation and learning materials to claim credits.
Our first quarterly Belonging Circle kicks off on Thursday, February 29th - leap day!
To join, click the register button on this page before Monday, February 26, and consider the different levels of registration outlined on this page below.
You have several choices when you register including:
...AND...if you missed out on our last live event, the Belonging Summer School last July, consider taking advantage of our Bundled Savings package, which grants you access to everything included in the Seeker package PLUS access to the Belonging Summer School at 50% off the extended access price.
If you’re a leader of any kind, whether formally or not, this event was created with you in mind.
Our quarterly Belonging Circle is for Board Chairs, CEOs, Executive Directors, Commissioners, Executive Leadership Teams, DEIB Council Members, DEIB Practitioners, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Chairs and Members, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and anyone else looking to imagine and then build belonging at work.
Great news! That’s why we also have an option to gain extended access to the Belonging Circle content for 12 months after the event.
This bonus offers an added value to making your initial investment in this program last all year long. While the official live events take place on Thursday, February 29th, you can also enjoy 12 months of extended access to all the pre-recorded and live event content for the day.
This perk is especially valuable to those who invest in group access passes, as extended access can inspire team members to move through the material together, which is great for Executive Leadership Teams, DEIB Councils, and ERG Networks.
We recommend creating a temporary Facebook profile so that you can participate in the free and private Belonging at Work Facebook group during the Belonging Circle week - February 26th - 29th.
There, we will host live discussions, share relevant resources, and even interact with some of the event’s speakers. It’s the free community element of the Belonging Circle, and we highly encourage you to join us, even if it’s just for the week of the event.
As an alternative, we do offer a paid community, the Belonging Membership Community, that uses an independent platform, where executives and other people leaders connect year-round. There’s a one-time membership fee of $59 (that will soon be increasing) and we recommend investigating if this community adds value to your work.
We are inviting DEIB and DEIB adjacent businesses to consider joining our Belonging Trusted Network.
When Rhodes Perry Consulting delivers leadership development and change management solutions to its clients, the Belonging Trusted Network is the referral network the company relies upon when helping clients get connected to the expertise and consulting solutions they need to continue advancing their DEIB priorities while building exceptional workplace cultures of belonging.
If you would like to be added to the Belonging Trusted Network, please contact Team Belonging here, and include in the title, Belonging Trusted. Then we’ll schedule a call to learn more about your services, and share more details about how you can join our network.

MEET THE HOST
RHODES PERRY
I love helping inclusive leaders, DEIB professionals, and culture strategists build more psychological safety, more trust, and more belonging at work. Together, we work to design interventions upending the sting of social exclusion on the job experienced by colleagues most likely to feel invisible, discouraged, disconnected, and shame at work.
Tragically, even in the powerful #BelongingMovement we are building together, I encounter leaders on the verge of giving up on their DEIB commitments due to caring more than their colleagues on executive leadership teams.
That's why I spent the past two decades working in-and-with many organizations researching, testing, measuring, evaluating, and changing promising practices that lead to more employees feeling a sense of belonging at work. What I have learned along the way is now enshrined in my bestselling books, Belonging at Work and Imagine Belonging.
The 2024 Belonging Circle will bring together what I've discovered during my 20-year journey in the DEIB field and in the social justice movements I belong to. The best part, all that I pour into this learning is complemented with powerful ideas, insights, and strategies offered by fellow DEIB and social justice thought leaders from around the country.
I’m excited to welcome you and encourage you to join this enormous learning journey we are to undertake. Together, let's grow our #BelongingMovement!
